Each workshop will be conducted at your location, or you can come to us in our Launceston location.
We can either come directly to your premises or we will organise an appropriate meeting room / training area in Brisbane for a full-day videography and editing workshop. Each Workshop day is split into 2 halves – filming and editing. The first half of the day is dedicated to camera skills, getting camera settings ready, shooting useable footage, using lights, setting up tripods and microphones and framing while shooting footage. The second half of the day we move on to editing your footage, color correction, adding titles, logo’s and graphics – then exporting the final result.
No, you don’t need any experience to take our workshops. Think of them as training sessions that are designed to teach you the skills and ideas that are important to complete great quality video productions. It is practical, hands-on training – so each person within your group will go through each stage of filming and editing by the end of the day.
Yes. We’ll teach you on your own equipment or we can use ours. It’s usually best to utilize your own equipment and become familiar with it as soon as feasible, which translates to feeling more at ease and confident. We will need a list of your equipment before the workshop so that we may develop a custom-made package suited to your demands
That won’t be a problem. We’ll provide everything you’ll need to get up and running. We will use our gear for the workshop and your training video production. We can also help you choose the most appropriate equipment for the filming conditions and desired effect.

If we come to your workplace, we will need a meeting space large enough for the entire group, preferably a room with HDMI connections, a big screen or projector to connect to, and an area close by where interviews and b-roll footage can be recorded without disturbing other work in progress.
We always recommend that our clients generate their own concepts for a quick video that is doable and relevant to their team. We then practice filming an interview, gathering background footage, and finishing the film in Adobe Premiere Pro.
We’ll Learn Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing. You can prior to this workshop, please check out their recommended system requirements if you’re not sure whether your laptop/notebook computer is suitable.
6 People. We want to make sure everyone gets the best possible results, understands the methods we’ll employ, and has adequate time to practice what they’ve learned. Any more than 6 students in any small team course would mean less practice time for each of the students. It may be preferable to split the group into separate days if you have more than 6 people. Please let us know so that we can make arrangements
During the training day, we will be capturing your own material. If you’d like to use any previously recorded footage/clip with the new material, make sure it’s available during the day on a drive that is accessible by the computers we’ll be using that day. We will then include it while editing the training video productions
Advanced Motion Graphics and Animation will not be covered in this course. These are complicated concepts that cannot be properly explained within such a short education timeframe.
